So I - rather foolishly - spent all day teetering around Sheffield (possibly one of the hilliest cities in the UK) in these platform shoes from Office.

But can you blame me? OK, so I nearly broke my ankle on more than one occasion, but they're so fabulous! Office really do sell the best platforms. Here are the ones that are still on my wish list:

How to dress for halloween

I love Halloween. It's the perfect excuse to dress as dramatically as you want. In fact, ott dressing is practically mandatory. But you know what I don't like? All the cheap, trashy costumes and accessories that appear in shops at this time of year. Even worse is the fact that people buy them. I say nay. Allow me to offer you an alternative.

Okay, so I haven't come down with such a serious case of 'Omigod I must havvit allll!' for quite a while now. But then I discovered modcloth.com's amazing accessories range. Seriously, I must havvit alllll! Not entirely sure how that is going to work out with my student budget, but I'll find a way. Here's a quick recap of some of my favourites.

My Regular Choice

My favourite shoe brand, like, ever, is Irregular Choice. Their footwear is very unusual, and very beautiful, and they pay real attention to detail. I buy a pair whenever I can afford it! I love the quirky heel designs, and the fit means that they're really comfortable for those of you who, like me, have slightly wide feet.

Fascinators!

I love vintage hats and fascinators. I often wear them in my day-to-day life. With accessories this fabulous, I don't want to wait for a special occasion! I love finding beautiful headpieces in vintage stores, and knowing that I own a one-of-a-kind piece, but having said that I'm really pleased with the current interest in vintage-inspired hats and fascinators on the highstreet, and I've assembled a collection of my favourite current-day fascinators found in online stores!
