I'm fairly certain that I've already mentioned that I love cameo jewellery. Well I came across an amazing designer on Etsy today called amylynnbuttchin who makes the most beautiful things with cameos! I want them all.

I'm still on an Accessorize trip right now - they've got some really cool stuff in right now, and I love these brooches. I like brooches a lot, because they can really make a jacket look individual. I like pinning a load of then on in clusters!

How to dress for halloween

I love Halloween. It's the perfect excuse to dress as dramatically as you want. In fact, ott dressing is practically mandatory. But you know what I don't like? All the cheap, trashy costumes and accessories that appear in shops at this time of year. Even worse is the fact that people buy them. I say nay. Allow me to offer you an alternative.

Okay, so I haven't come down with such a serious case of 'Omigod I must havvit allll!' for quite a while now. But then I discovered modcloth.com's amazing accessories range. Seriously, I must havvit alllll! Not entirely sure how that is going to work out with my student budget, but I'll find a way. Here's a quick recap of some of my favourites.

As I am sure you are aware, the best kind of accessories are those that serve no practical function whatsoever. And that is why I adore these pretty lacy gloves. Very 80's Madonna!
